Louisa Mensah

Scrum Master and Agile Coach

Louisa Mensah is a Scrum Master and Agile Coach skilled in supporting organisations transition to agile, with experience of delivering large scale greenfield agile projects for global organisations, in sectors ranging from telecommunications to banking and digital marketing agencies.

Able to apply agile processes and principles to create commercially successful solutions, Louisa has worked extensively in both Africa and Europe and is keen to share her insights and expertise on how to best guide companies and at times, dysfunctional teams, in their pragmatic adoption and organisational shift towards Scrum and other agile methodologies and practices.

In particular, Louisa is a strong advocate of the human aspects of improving productivity and she thrives on motivating teams to implement complex technical change. Having personally experienced redundancy and its impact on team morale, motivation and output, she became fascinated by change management.

Her Master’s dissertation was on the human risks and implications of a poorly managed downsizing programme and as a current guest lecturer for the prestigious University of Warwick in the UK, she holds a lecture on using agile to manage change effectively. Despite an increasingly digital world and the rise in popularity of Artificial Intelligence, she believes that it our skill sets and uniqueness as human beings that will truly increase productivity to new levels.

Louisa is also an enthusiastic member of the organising team for the Agile in Africa (AiA) conferences and Scrum day London conferences, ensuring the events run smoothly.

She has an MSc in Programme and Project Management from the University of Warwick and is a Professional Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Master.
